- is considered an expert witness for hearing testimony.
- can write amended language to submit to a bill sponsor.
- can directly influence legislation in ways not open to the rest of us.
- is seen by other officials (MSHSAA, Sec. of State, etc.) as a legislative spokesperson, giving them more credibility than most “concerned citizens.”
- Provides help dealing with government "authorities." FHE helps our members, and often non-members, when they get that knock at the door from a government authority figure.
- Has personal relationships with HSLDA lawyers. FHE can contact HSLDA lawyers immediately when a Missouri home educating family is in imminent need.
